DoodleMate was dreamed up by two Bay Area parents on a mission to turn their kids' doodles into something magical. We built DoodleMate from the ground up with a focus on data privacy that parents can trust. Our 4-year-old and 2-year-old serve as our beta testers, QA team, and very enthusiastic voice actors. If it makes them light up, we know it will work. If not, it's back to the drawing board, literally!

Her background in science ensures that every feature is built with intentionality, while her daily life as a mom of two keeps the product rooted in what actually matters to families. Josephine wants DoodleMate to inspire kids to dream bigger, create boldly, and experience joy every time they see their own art come to life.

After years in Big Tech, Jesse left the corporate world to pursue a personal mission: making animation accessible to everyone, so anyone can bring their own characters and stories to life.
Animation can fill us with delight and wonder. But as anyone who's tried to actually make one can tell you, animations are very difficult to create. Today's tools force a tradeoff: generative AI produces amazing videos quickly, but they're hard to control, so creators rarely feel true ownership of the results. Traditional computer animation gives you that ownership, but the learning curve is steep and the work is slow. I want to build something with a low floor and a high ceiling; a tool that uses AI to smooth out the hardest parts of traditional animation, while letting creators keep full ownership of what they make.
